We are sO excited about beer week — Let’s begin the festivities on the “eve” of AK Beer Week with a lovely Beer Dinner at Snowgoose Restaurant with Sleeping Lady Brewing Company’s beers. Here is the MENU:
5 courses, 5 beers. Pairings are in the works but here are the fabulous food courses:
* Herb-crusted Alaskan Seafood Skewer
* Panzanella Salad
* Wild Rice and Cheddar Soup
* Peppered Tenderloin Medallions
* Hard Apple Tartlet

Seating is limited to about 30 people. $55 pp. Please call 277-7727 for reservations.

Begin AK Beer Week here with the debut of Arctic Devil Barley Wine–on tap at 11 AM. Then at 5 PM, we tap a firkin of 3000 Belgian-style Barley Wine–this is our 3000th batch of beer since first firing up our brew kettle in 1995.

Fallen Angel Belgian Golden Ale – peppercorn-crusted, Prosciutto-wrapped cantaloupe with fresh blueberries and mint

Panty Peeler Belgian Tripel (brewed with coriander and orange peel) – seared Alaskan scallops on with roasted peppers on a bed of citrus jicama slaw

Pleasure Town IPA – Mesculyn mix with citrus vinaigrette, Alaskan King crab meat, oven roasted Roma tomatoes and toasted pine nuts

CoHoHo Imperial IPA (brewed with honey, brown sugar and juniper berries) – chipotle-braised caribou with roasted pearl onions, whipped potatoes and natural au jus
